Our Managing Director Ing. Robert Zirkl:
"For more than 30 years, I have been working in the steel industry worldwide, always fascinated by what complex knowledge is required and how dedicated and imaginative the technicians and managers master solve the - often very contrary - requirements.
After graduating from "Berg und Hüttenschule" I was able to gain experience in the steel industry as a responsible technician both in production plants (Voest Alpine Steel Linz) and in plant construction (INTECO / TBR) and also in the refractory industry (RHI / KROSAKI HARIMA).
I have managed major projects for blast furnace linings, new steelworks facilities, steel mill studies and revamping projects, as well as technology projects such as a patented mold level control for CCM or the production of higher value steel grades by stirring with inert gases in various areas in the steel process.
In addition to metallurgy and technology, the different use and optimization of refractory products is one of my favorite specialties.
The biggest motivation for me is working with all involved people - on very special solutions, so that in the end everyone is thrilled.

We are a small, expanding company in the middle of Austria (Leoben) one of the centers of the Austrian steel and refractory industry.

According to our size, we focus our worldwide services on just a few projects or devote our power to "one customer" entirely.

Based on mutual appreciation and personal commitment, we try to exceed the expectations of our customers.

We work in cooperation with universities as well as with a close network of specialists for metallurgy, plant construction, refractory and electrics / automation.
